Coulée verte René-Dumont

The world's first elevated park (1993) — a 4.5 km planted promenade running from the Bastille to the Bois de Vincennes along a former railway viaduct. Rose gardens, ponds, bamboo and rooftop perspectives over the city; the direct inspiration for New York's High Line. Free to wander.
